World’s Largest Pool

Located off the coast of Chile, and measuring over 1,000 yds in length, the Guinness Book of Records has named this pool beside the sea the biggest in the world!  Taking nearly 5 years to build at the cost of 1 billion dollars,  these clear turquoise waters aren’t cheap as maintenance will be an estimated 2 million annually.  Holding 66 milion gallons of water with an 115 ft. deep end, you may want to stock up on energy drinks before diving into these waters.

Awesome. I would hate to work at the hotel on the day that a big wave comes in an contaminates that pool with sea water. Imagine having to drain that thing.

  4. Nes says:

Now that would be awesome if that is filtered ocean water.

Wait. Hold up. I just posted something really dumb. I looked at the pictures and didn’t read the caption, which was a fail moment. Disregard first comment about “where is it.” Good thing I caught that…
