yes, they used to recommend alcohol (not the drinking kind) baths for children with high fevers… doctors are against it now because the alcohol is so cold that it can cause the child’s body to go into shock… or the child’s body gets cold so fast from the alcohol that it starts trying to quickly heat up with shivering and such.. then their fever becomes even higher than it was before. alcohol baths are a big no-no!

The really funny thing about this is the caption , because more then one parent has been told to give their young child an alcohol bath by their doctor to reduce a high fever . So there is a time and place for a alcohol bath . Rus , loose the wool hat and get a light weight straw hat . How about a Panama Hat ” very stylish” .
