During September and October of this year Brian DeFrees took a 12,225 mile cross country road trip throughout the United States.
Throughout the journey he set his camera to take a photo every five seconds, and then edited them together to create a five minute condensed version of his epic trip. The result is maybe one of the coolest videos on Youtube right now.

When Kevin Cotter’s now ex-wife moved out of their home in 2009 she only left one thing behind; her wedding dress. Rather than simply throw the bridal attire away, Cotter made the best of his divorce by trying to find out just how many practical uses his ex’s wedding dress had.
In the years since, Cotter has built a website and will soon come out with a book entitled 101 Uses for my Ex-Wife’s Wedding Dress featuring all the photographic evidence of him using this versatile garment. Here are some of the best ideas he has come up with so far.

Man Selling Ghosts Trapped In Bottles
This guy gets two internet points for creativity.
While Deese said he contracts with professional ghost catchers around the country and that it’s the ghost catchers who actually stuff the phantasms into a bottle, he wouldn’t elaborate on exactly how the ghosts get into the bottles.
“Well, if you went to KFC, you wouldn’t ask for secret recipe,” Deese said. “They’ll go in and catch them from haunted establishments, cars, hotels, maybe even graveyards.”
Comparing ghost catching to KFC recipes – it just makes sense!
Whether supernatural or just a spooky novelty, the ghosts in bottles come with a warning — open at your own risk.

Church Uses $500 Gas Raffle To Lure Worshippers
I guess threatening people with the idea of hell just doesn’t work anymore.
The First Baptist Church of Snellville is fueling its membership drive with a sign in front of its sprawling campus proclaiming “Free Gasoline.”
This is quite tempting, but like always, there’s a catch…
The offer is a not a giveaway. Instead, each time newcomers or members attend a church event during a Sunday-to-Wednesday revival they get a pink raffle ticket for a chance to win one of two $500 gas cards.
I think I’ll pass.

Teen Thrown 70 Feet After Being Hit By Train
This would be quite an adrenaline rush.
Police say a freight train hit a 16-year-old Lake Station boy, hurling him 70 feet.
Now for the funny part…
Stills says the CSX train hit Furlong “square on.” He says the teen apparently was wearing a stereo headset and may not have heard the train approaching behind him at about 37 mph.
The train engineer told police he blew his whistle some 50 times in warning.
I guess sometimes listening to your mom when she tells you to turn the music down could prepare you for something like this.

People Lived With Dead Woman’s Corpse For 2 Months
The term “WTF” has been escalated to a whole new level.
A man, woman and two teenage children apparently shared a house in Necedah Township, Wisconsin with a corpse for two months before authorities found the body.
You’re probably thinking it can’t get any worse than that, unfortunately, you’re in for a surprise…
At least one of the adults in the house insisted the dead woman inside wasn’t “fully dead,” and that they could pray her back to life.
The amount of delusion required within a person’s brain in order to believe that they can bring a dead woman back to life by praying is mind-blowing.

Man Asks Court To Change His Name To ‘In God We Trust’
Unfortunately, this guy is serious.
Kreuscher (CROY’-shir) says the new name would symbolize the help God gave him through tough times.
He believes in God and appreciates the help God gave him, but why not keep it to himself instead of being an attention whore and letting everyone know about it?
The 57-year-old man also told the (Arlington Heights) Daily Herald he’s worried that atheists may succeed in removing the phrase “In God We Trust” from U.S. currency.
I guess we should all forget about freedom and believe in the same thing.
