Singapore’s Haw Par Villa Theme Park

Haw Par Villa, a Chinese mythological theme park located in Singapore, is famous for its “beyond your wildest imagination” statues, sculptures, and exhibits. Most of everything at Haw Par Villa is based on famous Chinese historical personalities, mythology and legends. From a statue of a woman nursing her father-in-law, to a statue of a woman’s head and face attached to the body of a crab, this place has it all. So, if you somehow find yourself tripping on mushrooms in Singapore, Haw Par Villa is the place to visit.

WTF
that takes the cake….what the hell are the rides like!?however, the car rocks!!!!!!!!
bizarre, can those asians be any more of it?
Those are representations of the 18 levels of hell in Chinese mythology (kinda like Dante’s version) and what happens to ‘evil people’ after they die and end up there.
does any one know where I can make pieces like this ones?
the crab boy at the end is my favorite.
It’s a woman’s head, as the text in the article says.
I went there when I was a kid, had nightmares for the longest time ever. Parents like to bring their kids there, at least mine did, to scare the shit out of them doing any naughty things. Oh yea, I was scared shitless as a kid.
Dude… That park is sweetums.
What an awesome park. I would visit Singapore to visit this park.
Scarys
WTF THAT IS SOME SICK SHIT YOU GOT THERE!!!
I grew up in Singapore.
Went to the park many times.
Talk about nightmares..!
I’ve been here recently and the place is quite interesting. Even though it might give nightmares to younger kids. Its worth it since you don’t need to pay a single cent. There used to be a roller coaster here, or something like that. But its long gone.
Ten courts of Hell is a little bit scary, but not very interesting. I can only find the sculptures of punishment and they are not quite vivid…
