I love that place as a child! Sad to hear its so run down. Its a part of history and should be restored. I still would like to take my kids there for a visit.

I’ve been there a few times over the years having grown up in AZ. Wow, you people are awful just bagging on it. I thought it was kind of a blast to go. Like a big ole blast from the past. It’s like being emmersed back in the 60′s or something. I have some GREAT pictures of my siblings and I in the snake’s mouth from like 1982. Not every theme park needs death defying rides and cost $50 or more to get in. How about you visit the place before just ripping it apart.

i went here as a child i thought it was cool so i brought my children in 1994 havent been there since but wish i could go back it is a cute place nothing spectacular but i love flintstones so yah its cool and when i went they had a restaraunt and gift shop also

It’s much more magical when you’re little (as is everything). I wish they would fix it up and not let it run down into shit. Very disappointing.

This place is really great to visit. I was in Arizona on vacation in 2003 and had to stop when I saw the bedrock sign. It was just me and my best friend and we had alot of fun. We both loved the flintstones as kids. We had only planned on being there for a short visit but got caught up in the moment of just being kids again and we were there for hours. We had the park all to ourselves and it was awesome. We went thru all the buildings, took the train ride thru the volcano, and went down the Dino slide. We even ordered brontosaurus burgers and ate in the bedrock theater watching the flintstones. I would love the chance to go back and maybe take my nieces this time. Bottom line is it is a great place to stop and check if for nothing else than childhood memories of better times and better days.

I can’t wait to go. I loved the Flintstones and am a child at heart. I never liked the rides at most of the amusement parks so this will be perfect. I wished that I had known about it when my children were little. They would have loved it. I hope that there is still a gift shop. I really want to take home a suvenior.

We are taking our 3 children in June to the Grand Canyon so we are, for sure, going to stop by and see this place. Society in general loves to complain. Of course the place is a little run down, it has been operating since the 60′s or 70′s. Look at it from the viewpoint of a child. This place is going to be awesome for my kids to run through. Relax and don’t get so worked up.
