I loved the place it is run down but i love the Flinstones so it was really cool to look at.

i went here when i was a youngster. we were the only people there and they had a buffalo that looked like it was suicidal. the giant snake that you climb through is the best, no photos of it though.

It is easy to bash this place because of all the great amusement parks that we have in the 21st century. But when I was young, around 1974, my parents drove out of their way to take me this park because I loved the flintstones. I never forgot going to this park, imagine it in the eyes of a 3-5 year old child. I was blown away and again flintstones were on every Sat. morning. This place wasn’t made for adults who are used to going to hi tech parks, it was created a long time ago for children who loved the flintstones. I recently saw a couple of slides my parents had from my childhood and I brought back memories of the slides taken at this park.

I loved this place as a child. I went there in 1977 and just thought about it because my daughter had a project to do. I am just happy to see that one of my favorite childhood memories is still a place.

Oh my, that looks a bit battered, but a real piece of roadway history. Have to say that I’d love to visit it.

I’ve been there too. It was closed in the middle of the day and we snuck in. It was pretty run down and this was in 2000. Even though it was run down, it was still cool and I think it is worth stopping in on your way to the Grand Canyon. It is someone’s work of art and tribute to the Flintstones. It’s also a reminder of happier times when people could afford to take road trips.
