Signs can be used to market something, to give directions or even to lay down the law. But to make a good sign, you need a little common sense. That’s why these signs just don’t work, but they make for a great Friday laugh!!

The “6mph” sign is right outside my school! It’s actually a guideline for the train going through the intersection to prevent accidents between the train and cars going through the same intersection. So cars can fly through the light, but if the train isn’t careful and kills somebody, the city will be sued for lots of monies.

Hilarious! Today is my b-day and I got a good laugh. Have some of your posters ever heard the old saying, “if you can’t find anything good to say, don’t day anything at all!” You should just delete their comments. I have no patience for people like that. I am going to send this page to lots of other people who need a good laugh.
No photoshop necessary. I used to work in a sign shop. We did all sorts of stupid stuff. These bring back memories!

The same could be said about the people who post positive comments as is being said about negative ones. Why do you people want to censor people’s opinions? To save this person from negativity? We are idiots because we don’t care for these signs. IMO, the ones that aren’t photoshopped or vandalized to be ‘funny’, are actually pretty clear about what they mean, ergo, not funny. That is my opinion…if you want to insult me for it…and try to shut me up for it…just think of another group of people that did that kind of thing in the 30’s and 40’s in Germany (and around europe)…

It’s hard to come up with something truly original on the ‘net these days. Instead of insulting someone who is at least having a go at contributing something of some entertainment to the vastness of the web, why don’t you have a go at doing something better? Impress us all, because frankly your whining & moaning and attempted knocking down of other people’s work is much less than impressive.

Actually, I can tell you for a fact that the Chili’s and the 6 MPH signs weren’t photo shopped.
The Chili’s by us has the exact same Chili’s signs, and my dad took a picture of the 6MPH sign, only I don’t think it was in the same place.
People are allowed their own opinions about things no matter how unintelligent they may sound. That’s the beauty of the internet is that people can say what they want to say no matter how stupid or moronic it is. In my opinion though this post isn’t funny cause its a simply style of humor. I mean, this is the type of things that my mom would e-mail. Simply not clever or my type of humor to begin with.

I think this is a great post. No, not every sign was funnier than hell, but just because i didn’t laugh at everything doesnt mean it isnt good. as for all the lame or not lame crap, everyone has the right to an opinion, however there’s a difference between constructive criticism and just bein flat out rude…People need to pick their words a little more carefully is all.
The pics and captions were okay. I’ve seen better and worse. And to the people posting that this is shit and things the sort, you need to learn the diffrence between opinoins that should be said and others that are kept. It wasn’t this person’s fault that you read the whole thing and didn’t think it was funny. If you have some opinions that could help the person who posted it learn from his mistakes then post it but if it’s just to bring him/her down because you’ve done nothing but sit, read, and comment to a post that you didn’t like don’t do it. Now as humans we have to learn to bring people up but not make them think they are above what. Finding the balance between the two is difficult but not impossible. The people who say that the people who post their opinions are no better than the people who said the comments. To the person who did this I would recomend next time he thinks about doing this to really look over his captions and think about what you can do to make it funnier. then with that in mind go to sleep and wait till the next day to post it. That way your mind can help you while you sleep and you can look at it and see things you didn’t before and imprve upon it.
