    Man those poor dogs.

  2. SecretGuy says:

Unequivocal proof of canine intelligence. Or lack of. At least with the bull terrier. The rot looks like it got the message quickly.

Sorry what the hell does that mean?
Do you want the people who forced a porcupine and a dog to fight to have needles piled deep into their faces?!
Becasue clearly no one made these animals fight, these phot’s are probably taken from a vet’s office after the dog had attacked a porcupine.

It’s obvios that the white one is much more agressive ( and stupid )than his side-kick. Shit in ya shoes, that’s probaly enough ta kill the dumb, fuck, and if he don’t die, I’ll betcha dollars to donuts the idiot goes and attacts another p’pine.

  10. snakey says:

I think these pictures are fakes; especially the black dog doesn’t look very realistic. I believe that dogs are intelligent enough to decide, that it hurts very much to attack a porcupine.

I don’t have a dog. Can anybody who has a dog tell more about the behaviour of dogs in such situations?

    ciekawe jak kolczasty wyglądał ;)

  12. Hillery says:

Poor dogs. Porcupine quills have little hooks where they embed in the skin. They’re like fish hooks. It’s a procedure to take them out, not just a tug. :(

  13. Johnny B says:

how do you know they made them fight? And the dogs didnt just find a porcupine outside?

  14. Tabbie says:

    Ooooooh Noooooo!!!

  15. Brody says:

Ouch. That sure hurts. Poor dogs :\

  16. Shade says:

That poor bull terrier.. How the hell do you get THAT full of needles, roll in a crate of them or something?

My face hurts just looking at this. XD

I’m afraid that the Pit bull needs a unique kind of proprietor…these pet dogs, regardless of how ‘trusting’ nevertheless have teeth, are nevertheless animals with no moral concepts and once they DO bite, won’t let go. As in all creatures…some tend to be additional suseptable to instinctual behavior and time and time once again, this breed tends to complete just that.

I had a dog that ran into a porcupine a time or two. He looked
exactly like these dogs. They just get so excited that they can’t
stop once they’re on the hunt.

  19. jemmos says:

I’ve had this happen before to my dogs.

Dog’s think porcupines smell neat, the porcupine objects to the sniffing and gives it a whack of it tail. Then, you goto the vet.

The next week. you find out what kind of dog you have.
It will either learn its lesson, or go back for revenge.

Most of my dog’s learned well. The other, went back for revenge, twice. Found bits of porcupine scattered across the driveway and lawn.

In case anyone cares the white dog is a Bull Terrier and yes there is a difference is between Pit Bulls and Bull Terriers. But dog have the innate need hunt things that move. I have seen all three of my dogs go for animals from porcupines to mice. Its part of their biology, they are descended from wolves! And Pit Bulls are not any more likely to to attack other animals than any ol dog. It all has to do with the fact that yes while they are stubborn but then again so are Pekingeses but they are half their size, most of it has to do with the way that they were raised. But this might be more than people care to know.

  21. Animallover says:

I feel sooooo sorry for those dogs!!!!!!Whats with dogs and porcupines?????

  22. Stephen says:

i feel bad for both dogs but im also kind of curious on how the bull terrier managed to get so many quills lodged into him or her before either the pain set in or he decided to stop attacking because he realized he was just going to get more Quills lodged in his face and body.

anyway im just glad my dog would never do something like that.
