Paper Art Makes a Statement
Kiss those paper mache and origami days goodbye because there are plenty of other ways to turn paper into art. Some may call it green or say it’s a great way to recycle. Whatever you want to say about it, these pieces of art make bold statements, even with such a delicate material.

Su Blackwell turns books into artistic creations. Check out her twist on Alice in Wonderland right before she jumps into the hole.

Peter Callesen takes one piece of white paper and cuts it up into a masterpiece.

Sher Christopher’s Emotive Paper Figurines add a little bit of drama to the world of paper art, including theatrical costumes and make-up.
Elsa Mora has a more delicate touch that seems almost childlike. Her paper cutouts evoke detail down to the last strand of hair.

Paper Wars is an exhibit, which displays designs that are the exact opposite of Mora’s works. These paper sculptures are anything but delicate looking — even threatening maybe — if you didn’t know they could be torn to shreds in about two seconds.
And lastly, here’s a dress entirely made of newspapers. It’s fashionable, eco-friendly and something that could be worn this summer. Just watch out for the rain!

Very informative text. I’ve found your site via Google and I’m really glad about the information you provide in your articles. Btw your blogs layout is really messed up on the Chrome browser. Would be great if you could fix that. Anyhow keep up the good work!
Alice in Wonderlandis the kind of film an unimaginative fanboy dreams up on an IMDb message board. Every element arrives in a package so neat and uncontroversial that it lacks all of the texture and bite that the writings of Lewis Carroll may have had. All the creatures and landscapes are perfectly-rendered CGI concoctions that contain absolutely no weight or humanity whatsoever.
