Long, healthy fingernails are great for scratching itches, peeling off stickers and opening packaging – but some people take it to the extreme. Here are a few ladies that might want to scale it back a bit.

Why paint a mural when you can use your own natural canvases?

Gardening can entail a lot of hard manual labor, which isn’t easy with long human claws. I guess this lady decided to just have one painted on her instead.

I have no idea how any of these people can do anything with their hands, but this lady can light a match.  The combination of fire and limited dexterity can only end well.

This is Lee Redmond, the Guinness Book of World Records as having the longest fingernails (over 30 feet combined). She lost her nails after a car accident earlier this year.
