I think I tried this a while ago. It brings back bad memories. Nothing good seems to work the first time. How long did it take you? I look forward to your next story.

Many of you people are truly heartless and have no idea what you are talking about. Take myself, granted I am obese as you people say and have been for a while secondary to a thyroid condition however I have always worked and taken care of my household obligations until I had an automobile accident in which my legs and ankle were crushed and shattered...I can no longer ambulate...does that make be a lzay fatass? I think the lady has the right idea with the scooter and the lawn mower. I think all of you idiots should reserve comment when you don't know the person's particular reason for doing what they are doing.... I don't think this lady would have paid over 10,000 for a power wheelchair so she could ride to cut grass and I sure if you know anything about getting necessary approval from an insurance company for a wheelchair there has to be something seriously wrong. Insurance companies will not just through their money away just so people can cut their grass. Take care you bunch of hearless idiots !!!!

I dont believe all of those "I have a medical condition" crap. You can be over weight from medication, but you would certainly not be obese. Some meds can make you gain 60 pounds...thats not going to make you obese unless you are like 5 feet tall. Any more weight gain then that and your doctor would be changing your meds. As for a glandular problem...its possible but there are meds for that!

I dont see what the big deal of making fun of her is. Just because she is fat doesn't mean she couldnt get out of the chair for a few minutes at a time and push. Sure it might take longer having to sit down every few minutes, but at least she would be contributing to the solution. It does not matter if there is a medical issue causing it. Unless part of that condition leads to her being UNABLE to walk, she should be able to get up and push it.

I've known plenty of fat people in my day. In fact, my boss right now is over 400 pounds, but dispite that, he still gets up and does everything that I do and more when I'm not there. Loading and unloading tractor trailers, lifting speaker cabinets, moving parts of stages around, etc. All very physically demanding things at the end of the day. Just because you are overweight, does not mean you can't get up and push your lawnmower around the yard.

It's possible that she had a condition that didn't allow her to walk, and therefore didn't allow her to work out. Hence the wheelchair and fat.

So I guess what ever is causing all these glandular problems and conditions requiring steroidal medication is confined to the US...
