hey.. my mom is playing bookworm and now she got almost +800M and still going.. she’s 64 years old.. hahaha.. can’t believe that she got that score.. before i was amazed that she got 1M and now she was going to reach 1 billion.. hehe..

Wow! I guess I have way too much free time (not!). I;ve been playing about an hour a day since November.My high score is 102,128,380 and I haven’t burned yet. Getting those bonus words really helps.

I am playing bookworm on the my phone. I started last November and have yet to burn down the library. I am on level 1647 and the score is 1,357,333,990. My highest word score is 952,850 with the word “handlers”.

Wow. I’ve been playing for 2 weeks and I’m at 7M; I can’t imagine playing long enough to break 1B, especially if your best word is only 8 characters long. Handlers, really? Must be boring to just keep punching in letters at random hoping you get a hit. Pornographic, for the record, is my longest and my highest scoring word is frequency (only 9 letters, plus qu is only 1 tile, but still, you come on here bragging about handlers?)

I’ve been playing the same game for months. Current score is: 40,126,370 at level 282. YES I can prove it.
I’ve been playing the PC game for over 1 year and currently have 1,751,052,910 (1.7 billion). Highest word score is photodiodes - 310,400 points (all silver and blue tiles) that took quite a while to build.

I can verify, if necessary, that I had a score of over 800 million one time. My average of the five latest games was between 200 and 300 million. Of those four games, my wife knocked me out once, my computer knocked me out twice, so I only have records of two games played.

I can prove a score of 22.77 million. Don’t believe any scores over 99.99 million, because there is no space for a bigger number. Also, you long word experts are lying, because the game will not take a word of 13 characters. And yes!, I can prove that, too
i agree with geoff lloyd, it doesn’t seem like the game would allow for scores over 99.99 million, but if you can show proof with screen pics, i’d love to see! I”m currently >5M and I thought I was kickin’ ass until I saw your posts!
mine is 3,536,680 (classic).I do not like the action type.I play on iphone.
My present record is 23.800.000 points (yes 23million+) I’m not kidding, I can upload a screenshot of the game. No cheating, of course, it would be no fun at all, I just play every chance I have. The total time is something near 30 hours give or take.

I am playing a game now at over 22 million at level 61. Time to get there is about 44 hours. My high score before this was 12 million. I started playing 1 mil. at a time and shutting it off. I started taking pics when I get to the next level or next million. I had the game end a couple times without a burning tile hitting the bottom.

Level 63, over 25 million. Had a higher game but it crashed. Never bothered to note that score as never expected to be writing to other bookworm lovers.

Husband playing action game on PC. Now at 621 Million, level 191, and going strong. Interested in finding out any other high scores for the Action Game.
I’m currently playing a game at 32 million and change…this is my best score ever… i play a little each day…my experience has been that you can go on until the game decides it’s time for you to quit and sends you several flaming tiles… for the record, I am 67, smart, a granny… and obviously retired or I wouldn’t have time for this! My longest words have been 10 letters…i once tried a longer word (I forget how long), but the game wouldn’t accept it…
Hmmm. I can see you guys will think I’m lying lol, but I reached the highest possible score on Bookworm Mobile (2,147,483,647)–that is over 2 billion–at which point the score got a negative sign in front of it and started counting from negative 2.1 billion up past zero all the way to 2.1 billion again, then back to the negative numbers. Currently I am at -1,421,271,012 for the second time, so I guess that comes out to 3 times the high score plus the difference between the high score and that number (disregarding the negative sign), for a total of 7,168,663,576 (7 billion plus). I am on level 3785 and my high word score is “WOLDS” for 1,972,400 (1.9 million).
I have been in email contact with the Bookworm developers for about a year. They added a “FAQ” on their website based on my initial report to them that the game did not “stop working” as they said it would when it reached 2,147,483,647. (I emailed them at 999,000,000-plus–just before I reached 1 billion–to make sure the game could “handle” 1 billion. They said yes, it will go up to 2,147,483,647, but then we believe it will get glitchy and stop working properly.)
So…I am good at Bookworm but not good at figuring out how to prove any of this. I can get a photo showing the level and probably the high word score page (small font though), but the score itself is in gold on a yellow background and I have never been able to get a good photo. Plus the first digit is usually off the screen(depending on whether the score has a lot of “skinny” numbers like 1’s or a lot of “fat” numbers like O’s), as is the negative sign. The negative sign and full number does show up when you get a new level, though, and it tells you when you will reach the next level. Maybe I could get a photo of that screen. None of that, of course, proves that I am going through the cycle of numbers multiple times, except I suppose that you couldn’t get to level 3785 otherwise.
I have a Samsung Renown, if anyone knows if there’s some way to get a screenshot on that phone and email it. I would think a screenshot would include the part that’s “off the screen” on the actual phone.
I have gotten up to almost 400 million on the action game and lost it because I thought I paused it to take a break, now I am up to almost 100 million again and going strong. I play about an hour each night and it took me a month to get that high. I think it easier to get the higher scores with the action game for some reason, I have several strategies I use and am shooting for the billion mark!!

Playing classic on my phone,at level 1503 at 1,131,224,440. Besr word is sinks for 721,000. I am curious to know how quickly someone has passed the billion mark (what level)? It is all about the bonus words.

I am now up to over one billion on the action game and still going.
My highest score so far is 9,880,820. My longest words have been ‘fingerling’, ’sacrifices’ and ‘friendlier’, one of them scoring 130,000 points because there were several blue, yellow and green tiles involved. I can spend a fair amount of time on the game, which I love, because I’m retired.
I had over 13 million and my computer shut down in the middle of the game without saving. Don’t know how high I would have gotten. Am not going to try again. The secret is keeping the letters at the bottom cleaned up so they will be useful for making common words if a burning tile makes it that far down.

I’ve been playing for five days and I’m currently on level 227 with 51,653,220 points and my game has frozen.
I was checking to see what happens after you reach 99,999,999 because I’m at 99,145,890. I don’t think you need a lot of time on your hands. I play about an hour a day and I know my son plays his video games more than that. I don’t understand how some of you are at such a high level because I’m only at level 95 and I have almost reached a billion.
