An Active Vacationer
It’s one thing to travel the world and take a few pictures of yourself in front of famous landmarks, but Ashrita Furman takes it to a new level. He visits historic sites and attempts to break Guinness World Records for rather ordinary activities.
Furman is a 54 year-old health food store employee in Queens, New York who set his first record in 1979, for the most consecutive jumping jacks.
Many of his records involve exercises and endurance…
And coordination.
He currently holds 98 Guinness World Records, including the record for the most records. To see a complete list of his travels and accomplishments, visit his web site.
