It’s one thing to travel the world and take a few pictures of yourself in front of famous landmarks, but Ashrita Furman takes it to a new level. He visits historic sites and attempts to break Guinness World Records for rather ordinary activities.

Furman is a 54 year-old health food store employee in Queens, New York who set his first record in 1979, for the most consecutive jumping jacks.
