A short time ago, in a back yard not so far away…
I Will Survive… Auschwitz
This guy survived the Auschwitz death camp, and returned with his family to… dance?
Pay Bench
Apparently some city had a problem with people loitering on benches. This was their solution:
The… uhh… Swimming of the Bulls
Running is a high-impact activity, rough on the joints; especially if you’re being chased by a phalanx of horns attached to pissed off, one-ton animals. Leading fitness trainers agree: the annual Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain would be better if it was turned into a low-impact swimming event instead.

Offbeat Backpacks
When you’re going off the beaten trail, you should consider taking a few extra things with you. And unless your father mated with a kangaroo, you’ll probably need a backpack to do that.

Ugly Dog Competition
Kok-boru: Dead Calf Ball
This sport comes to us from “The ‘Stans” (Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan). You might remember that we recently covered Goose Pulling. Well this is sort of the opposite of that.
And by “opposite”, we don’t mean “humanely treating animals”, we mean “the animal in question is already missing its head”. Basically, you take a dead, headless calf, ride around, and throw it into a goal.
Fun for all ages!
